Hanbat University (President Byeongwook Choi) announced on the December 24th that Vision SEMICON (CEO Tongseob Yoon), a Korean semiconductor equipment manufacturer, has donated 100 thousand USD for the development of Industry-Academia Cooperation.
On the December 23rd, the Ceremony of development fund held at Industry-Academic Cooperation Hall of Hanbat University. President of Hanbat University Byeongwook Choi, Vice-President of Industry-University Cooperation Jongin Choi, head of planning department Yongjoon Oh, head of the industry-academic cooperation headquarters Seunghan woo, and other university officials, Vision Semicon CEO Tongseob Yoon, vice president Seongman Kwon, and research institute director Dongbae Lee and more around 10 people including those in attendance.
The CEO of Vision Semicon, Tongseob Yoon, said, “We hope that the industry-academic cooperation will be further revitalized, centering on Hanbat University, which is the region centre public university, to help cultivate talented person who will lead the local industry.
Tongseob Yoon, the CEO of Vision Semicon, is an alumnis of Hanbat University. Recently he has signed an agreement for the operation of family industry-academic scholarship student' system, and is continuing to cooperate in student field training and employment connection. In addition, a total of five teams participated in the task of solving the difficulties of unmanned robot café 'Storant' of Vision Semicon' as a corporate-supported capstone design course in the second semester, and the final result presentation was held at industry-academic cooperation hall of University. In addition, it will continue to cooperate to create industry-academia cooperation education and business opportunities to respond to the 4th industrial revolution.
