Jain Technology, a Korean open channel flowmeter manufacturer, is recognized for the technology Korea Water Resources Corporation delivers a Certificate of Excellent Technology to Jain Technology
Feb 08, 2021, 11:20
Since 2018, the Ministry of Environment and Korea Water Resources Corporation have provided water management facilities nationwide to small and medium-sized water companies in order to support the companies that have difficulty in commercialization due to the lack of performance test sites to verify their performance even after developing innovative technologies. In the first year of its opening, Korea Water Resources Corporation announced that it provided performance test sites for 50 companies and 51 technologies, helping to improve the quality and completeness of SME innovative technologies.
It opened an additional performance test site for 11 SMEs, and signed an agreement between Korea Water Resources Corporation and 11 companies to provide a performance test site.
In addition to the agreement, Korea Water Resources Corporation delivered Certificates of Excellent Technology and water industry equipment supplier registration certificates to 41 selected companies with excellent technology holding and commercialization support systems.
Companies that received the 'BEST Tech' certification logo of the Korea Water Resources Corporation are △Jain Technology, an external wall-mounted ultrasonic flowmeter △Samjin Precision, a triple eccentric laminated metal sheet butterfly valve (200~2,800A) △Seokwang Industrial, backflow prevention and pump control Energy saving technology using hydraulic metal sheet ball valve △Shinwoo Industrial, four companies including freeze-freeze prevention water meter protection box. Six companies, including Jungang Industry, were evaluated as having 'NEW Tech' technology.
Meanwhile, Jain Technology is a Korean ultrasonic flowmeter manufacturer that produces ultrasonic flowmeters, and as an internationally certified calibration institution, calibrates and inspects various flowmeters. The ultrasonic flowmeter currently being produced is a clamp-on ultrasonic transit-time flowmeter, and this one has a NEP certification obtained from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and new technology from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Previous flowmeters have sensors located inside pipes, so they had to be cut or drilled during installation. This could lead to a malfunction due to the influence of sensor contamination or deterioration of performance by foreign substances, corrosion, etc.
On the other hand, the external wall-mounted ultrasonic flowmeter developed and produced by Jain Technology simply needs to be attached to the outer wall of the pipe to measure the flow rate. Therefore, the sensor is not contaminated or corroded, and there is no difficulty such as number of steps during installation.
The CEO of Jain Technology said, “We feel that this excellent technology certificate received from Korea Water Resources Corporation compensates for the various developments and efforts made by Jain Technology so far. In the future, we will continue to develop new technologies and try our best to provide good products.”
