Korean control sensor signal equipment manufacturer, Mirae E&I, develops eco-friendly water circulation system Introducing a device that circulates water by using solar and wind power
Jul 30, 2020, 11:31
Korean control sensor signal equipment manufacturer, Mirae E&I, introduced the water circulation system designed to keep the water quality of a wide lake or reservoir clean and sustainable by using solar energy and wind energy.
The hybrid water circulation system of Mirae E&I has a 150W BLDC motor that rotates 75~150 rpm per minute to circulate the upper and lower water at different temperatures, which prevents green algae in advance, and bring the effect of improving the water quality of stagnant deep water.
The non-powered hybrid ‘HJ-1000’ overcame the weakness of the existing water circulation system using only sunlight with another eco-friendly energy. Solar and wind energy are used to maintain the best operation without additional power. The disadvantage of the existing water circulation system is that it cannot be driven when the weather was not good or when the sun is not shining. However, 'HJ 1000' uses wind energy additionally and circulates without stopping to maintain the best water quality if there is wind even on long cloudy days.
The six-leaf wind vane mounted on the 'HJ-1000' was considered to be most affected by wind. Therefore, even with a very small wind, two impellers are easily driven through the speed increasing device to circulate water.
Even when there is no wind power, it is driven at 75 rpm by transmitting the power generated by three 300w solar power modules to the BLDC motor. Conversely, when the wind power is 80 rpm or more, the photovoltaic power is charged by a storage battery, and the motor power is cut off.
In particular, it can be used even in the sea where power supply is difficult. It is made of STS 316 (for sea level) to boast strong durability against corrosion in the sea. It is designed to withstand a load of 2.5t or more even in harsh environments. A number of aquaculture companies suffer damage due to the occurrence of red tide every year, but now using Mirae E&I's water circulation system can induce deep water and surface water circulation to alleviate and prevent red tide.
