In January 2021, AMTE, a Korean functional coating material manufacturer, acquired a patent for a core-shell structured copper sulfide nanoparticles having a selective absorption function in the infrared region, an infrared absorption coating composition containing the same, a retroreflective sheet, or an automobile reflector.
Founded in 2009, AMTE is a venture company that stands out in the fields of functional films, functional coating materials, and functional nanomaterials, and holds 15 related patents. AMT relocated its headquarters to Yesan in 2019 to increase the number of manufacturing plants and at the same time expand the manufacturing volume, showing growth, and achieved 5 billion won in sales.
