A Korean cyber security service provider, Stealien, donated 10,000 Korean masks to the Yongsan Welfare Foundation to support the vulnerable in the COVID-19 crisis.
This donation was promoted to protect local communities after the spread of COVID-19. The Yongsan Welfare Foundation plans to deliver donated goods to six elderly welfare facilities in Yongsan-gu.
The CEO of Stealien, Park Chan-am, said, "We have been looking at the Yongsan-gu newsletter every month. We hope that we can help a little by giving masks to those who suffer from the COVID-19 to contribute to the local community."
Earlier, Stealien delivered quarantine supplies to a volunteer group for the elderly with dementia.
Meanwhile, Stealien is a Korean cyber security solution provider founded in 2014 by CEO, Chan-am Park, a famous white hacker.
While other Korean mobile security companies are only reselling foreign products, Stealien is supplying 100% self-developed mobile security solutions.
In addition, Stealien is constantly researching and developing related technologies through high-level research and development (R&D) projects with national institutions. It has also actively advanced overseas and recently made contracts with partners in Japan.
Stealien is also taking the lead in public interest activities for the development of domestic information security. The 'WIFISUIT' application, which allows you to use Wi-Fi more safely in public places, has been distributed free of charge, and Stealien has been continuously participating in the 'Ajou University Information Security Specialized University Support Project' since 2015 to cultivate the talented people.
Executives and employees are also advising members of the Armed Forces Cyber Command, the Cyber Crime Expert Group of the National Police Agency, and the Financial Supervisory Service for the development of information security. In addition, the average age of the workforce is about 26, which has a high youth employment rate, and the ratio of regular workers excluding interns reaches 100%. Accordingly, Stealien was selected as a “youth-friendly small business” by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for the second consecutive year.
